I certainly don't claim to be an expert but, just for kicks, I fired up my old Vista PC, opened Syncback, created a Profile and schedule. I wasn't asked for a password. This "no password required" is what I want.
Apparently, the password error is associated with Windows 8. I'm ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN I'm entering the right password.
As for Support, I'll backtrack. I do not know if I communicated with "Support" or not. Whoever I contacted told me, in order to get support for SB v6, I had to upgrade. Did that - evaluation.
