2) Yes, but Versioning of replicated deletions won't apply if your profile won't be replicating deletions-on-Source in the first place ('orphans' will accumulate instead)
3) As per the Help on Versioning settings page
"You are free to delete the folder and the version files in it (you will obviously lose those versions) as no database of those versions files is kept (it is always built at profile run time)."
A KB search on 'versions' and "versioning" may answer other questions. The multi-search tool on this site allows you to search the KB and/or the forums. And of course, there's always Help > Search![:)]( "Smile")
